Apple announced its largest design update to date, named "Liquid Glass," at the WWDC 2025 Global Developers Conference. This innovative feature can refract light and dynamically respond to user actions with mirror-like highlights. It seamlessly integrates with user interface actions like option calls or screen transitions, harmonizing with the device's rounded edges.

Liquid Glass enhances the visual experience with its layered design, making light mode, dark mode, vibrant new color schemes, and a fresh transparent look more vivid than ever. Additionally, Apple revealed that all system names will be updated to version 26.
