  • Q2 Metals reports promising assay results from Winter 2025 drill program at Cisco Lithium Project, Quebec.
  • Significant lithium intersections with up to 64.3m at 1.34% Li2O have been discovered.
  • The project remains open for expansion with a detailed summer exploration program planned.

Q2 Metals Corp. (QUEXF, Financial) has released the final assay results from its Winter 2025 drill program at the Cisco Lithium Project located in the Eeyou Istchee James Bay region of Quebec, Canada. A total of 6,980 meters were drilled over 14 drill holes, with the latest results covering 4,409 meters from 10 holes. Significant lithium mineralization was identified, with notable intersections including 64.3 meters at 1.34% Li2O in hole CS25-036 and 49.4 meters at 1.33% Li2O in CS25-028.

The company has engaged BBA Engineering to develop an Exploration Target for the main mineralized zone. The Cisco project, covering 41,253 hectares, remains open for expansion in multiple directions. Q2 Metals has initiated a comprehensive mapping and sampling campaign, collecting 348 rock samples so far. A Summer 2025 drill program is planned to further expand the strike length and conduct infill drilling, aiming to enhance understanding and potential of the mineralized zone.

Key results from the Winter 2025 drilling campaign include:

  • CS25-029: Eight intervals, widest being 26.5m at 1.25% Li2O.
  • CS25-031: Five intervals, widest being 33.9m at 1.19% Li2O.
  • CS25-033: Three intervals, widest being 27.3m at 1.39% Li2O.

The project benefits from favorable mining conditions in Quebec, and the current exploration program is expected to continue through the summer, aiding in the potential expansion of the project. The information gathered will help guide future exploration and provide early insights into the scale and potential of the Cisco Lithium Project.
