At the recent annual stockholder meeting on June 5, Inception Growth Acquisition (IGTA, Financial) received approval for key proposals. Shareholders voted to amend the company's certificate of incorporation and the investment management trust agreement with Continental Stock Transfer & Trust Company. This amendment grants IGTA the option to extend the liquidation date of its trust account, initially established during their initial public offering, by up to four additional months. Each month-long extension, running from June 13, 2025, to October 13, 2025, requires IGTA to deposit $0.075 times the number of common shares issued during the IPO that remain unredeemed. The extension is intended to provide the company with extra time to finalize a business combination.
