Marvell Technology Inc. (MRVL) has announced the release of its custom Ultra Accelerator Link (UALink) scale-up solution, significantly enhancing its AI compute platform capabilities. The UALink solution uses open standards-based technology to allow hyperscalers to efficiently scale AI infrastructure, supporting hundreds to thousands of AI accelerators while ensuring high performance and low latency.

The UALink solution boasts an impressive set of features, including advanced 224G serializer/deserializer (SerDes) technology, UALink Physical Layer IP, configurable controller IP, scalable low-latency switch core, and advanced packaging options. This comprehensive IP portfolio forms a robust foundation for AI infrastructure development, particularly in handling the interconnectivity challenges of large-scale deployments.
