June 12 - Nvidia (NVDA, Financial) is setting up Europe's first industrial AI cloud, a large-scale project aimed at modernizing the region's manufacturing sector.

The facility, described as an “AI factory,” will house 10,000 GPUs, including Nvidia DGX B200 systems and RTX PRO Servers. It will run on the company's CUDA-X libraries, RTX, and Omniverse platforms, supporting AI-accelerated workloads from major software firms such as Siemens (SIEGY, Financial), Ansys (ANSS), Cadence (CDNS, Financial), and Rescale.

The cloud platform is expected to help European manufacturers streamline operations across product design, simulation, robotics, and digital twin technology. Companies like BMW Group, Maserati, Mercedes-Benz, and Schaeffler will use Nvidia-powered applications to overhaul processes from concept design to logistics.

Nvidia said the site will follow its Omniverse Blueprint for AI factory design. Cadence's Reality Digital Twin Platform will be used to simulate and optimize the facility, helping engineers create a smarter, more efficient build.

Speaking at the GTC Paris event during VivaTech, Nvidia CEO Jensen Huang said the move will support “simulation-first, AI-driven manufacturing” across Europe.

Also at GTC Paris, Ansys, Cadence, and Siemens announced they are scaling their portfolios using Nvidia's AI-physics tools, CUDA-X libraries, and Grace Blackwell systems.
