Informatica (INFA, Financial), a leader in AI-powered enterprise cloud data management, has announced a significant expansion of its partnership with Databricks at the 2025 Data + AI Summit. As a launch partner, Informatica supports Databricks' new Managed Iceberg Tables and Databricks Lakebase, a modern AI-centric database. This collaboration emphasizes Informatica's commitment to advancing cloud data management and deep integration with the Databricks Data Intelligence Platform.

The partnership enables Informatica to support enterprise-scale data management, transforming data into Iceberg format, and facilitating seamless data loading and transformation for Databricks' Postgres-compatible Lakebase. These innovations promise to enhance enterprise analytics, AI, and transactional workloads.

Furthermore, Informatica is expanding its GenAI capabilities with new connectors for Databricks Mosaic AI. These include Cloud Application Integration (CAI) connectors and GenAI Recipes for CAI, which simplify and accelerate AI agent deployment and application development through a no-code interface.

Informatica's continued focus on enhancing its Intelligent Data Management Cloud (IDMC) platform is evident in its new volume support for Cloud Data Integration and Cloud Data Ingestion and Replication. These advancements bolster Informatica's position in the no-code, governed data integration market by providing efficient data management via Unity Catalog for Databricks customers.
