Tech Stocks Decline as Oil and Gas Shares Rise; Tesla (TSLA) and Nvidia (NVDA) Fall

In pre-market trading, U.S. tech stocks experienced a general decline. Tesla (TSLA) saw a drop of around 3%, while Nvidia (NVDA) fell by approximately 2%. Chinese tech stocks listed in the U.S. also faced downturns, with Alibaba and Li Auto both decreasing by about 3%.

Conversely, oil and gas stocks showed strength. ConocoPhillips surged by roughly 5%, and Chevron climbed about 3%.

U.S. stock futures extended their losses. The S&P 500 futures decreased by 1.2%, Nasdaq 100 futures dropped 1.3%, and Dow Jones futures fell by 1.2%.
