Redwire Corporation (RDW), a prominent player in aerospace and defense technology, has successfully finalized its acquisition of Edge Autonomy Intermediate Holdings, LLC. This strategic move comes after approval from Redwire shareholders and marks a pivotal expansion in Redwire’s capabilities, particularly in uncrewed airborne system technologies.

The integration of Edge Autonomy enhances Redwire’s position as a formidable force in multi-domain defense technology solutions, focusing on the integration of airborne and space-based systems. The acquisition is anticipated to transform Redwire into a scaled and profitable entity, advancing its growth trajectory.

Post-acquisition, Redwire will boast a workforce of over 1,300 employees and expand its manufacturing footprint to more than 628,000 square feet across the U.S. and Europe. The deal is projected to be immediately accretive, with full-year revenue estimates ranging from $535 million to $605 million, and Adjusted EBITDA forecasted between $70 million and $105 million.

Peter Cannito, Redwire’s Chairman and CEO, expressed his optimism about the acquisition, stating, "Today marks the start of an exciting new chapter as a combined company. We are uniquely positioned to transform the future of multi-domain operations and provide decisive advantages to U.S. and allied warfighters."
