Go Metals Corp. (GOCOF) has announced a pilot program in collaboration with MineCompare AI to integrate artificial intelligence into geological data analysis. This initiative aims to leverage large language models (LLMs) specifically designed for geological applications, enhancing the analysis and benchmarking of the company's exploration projects.
The pilot program will primarily focus on the Monster IOCG project, Go Metals' flagship property located in the Dawson Mining District, Yukon. This project is noted for its geological similarities to significant Iron Oxide Copper Gold (IOCG) systems found in Australia and South America, positioning it as a promising copper exploration target.
Scott Sheldon, CEO of Go Metals, emphasized that this partnership with MineCompare AI could significantly enhance the company’s capability to evaluate and advance its projects. The AI platform will facilitate the integration of both public and proprietary datasets, automating early-stage research workflows to accelerate insight generation and improve technical evaluations while maintaining a strong focus on high-value exploration activities.
