Verizon's Total Wireless has introduced Total Spark, a social impact initiative aimed at assisting working students across the United States. This program, part of the Verizon Value portfolio, seeks to provide vital resources and support to students who juggle work, family, and educational responsibilities. The launch follows a survey revealing that many working students face significant challenges, including financial strains and the need for career support.

To effectively address these needs, Total Wireless has partnered with Empower Work, a national nonprofit, to distribute grants between $50,000 and $150,000 to five organizations in Chicago, Dallas, and Detroit. These grants aim to enhance existing community programs focused on job training, skill development, and career advancement.

On June 27, a unique "Career Spark" fair will be held in Chicago. The event will offer working students access to resources and tools essential for maintaining a work-life balance and pursuing long-term career goals. Stations will provide professional headshots, job application opportunities, and networking materials, empowering students to achieve professional success.

In support of this initiative, Nancy Clark, President of the Verizon Value segment, stated, "Our Total Wireless customers are the ultimate go-getters – and we know nobody hustles harder than working students." The Total Spark program is part of a broader effort under Verizon's Value Cares platform, aimed at reinforcing community empowerment through reliable connectivity.

Total Wireless (VZ, Financial), covered by Verizon’s 5G network, continues to deliver value through no-contract plans and other services, maintaining its commitment to supporting the diverse needs of its customer base. For more information on the program and upcoming events, visit Total Spark.
