Wendy's (WEN) is teaming up with popular snack brand Takis to introduce the Takis Fuego Meal for a limited time, starting on June 20 in the United States and June 30 in Canada. This new collaboration combines Wendy's Spicy Chicken filet with crushed Takis Fuego chips, Chili Lime Sauce, corn spread, and cheddar cheese sauce to create the Takis Fuego Chicken Sandwich. The meal also features Fuego Fries, which are Wendy's Hot & Crispy Fries seasoned with chili lime, served in a custom tear-away bag. A bag of Takis Fuego chips is included while supplies last.
To further promote this spicy collaboration, Wendy's is launching an in-app game called Spice Invasion. From June 20 to July 20, U.S. users can play the retro arcade-style game to win prizes, including a chance at a $10,000 grand prize.
