Varonis Systems (NASDAQ: VRNS) has announced a new integration with OpenAI's ChatGPT Enterprise Compliance API, significantly enhancing security for enterprise AI implementations. The integration addresses the critical need for data protection among the over 3 million users of ChatGPT Enterprise by introducing automated identification of sensitive data, continuous monitoring of prompts and responses, and prevention of breaches and compliance violations.

This integration provides organizations with three core capabilities: automated data classification, continuous session monitoring, and behavior-based threat detection. These features are crucial as they protect against vulnerabilities such as data breaches, compliance violations, and insider threats by monitoring permission levels and flagging risky behaviors.

Varonis' integration further strengthens ChatGPT Enterprise's security by adding an additional layer of defense against compromised accounts and misuse, complementing OpenAI's existing security features. This positions Varonis strategically in the growing AI security market, addressing the dual challenge of maximizing AI productivity while ensuring data security compliance.

The integration is currently available in a private preview, allowing customers to request a free Varonis Data Risk Assessment. This approach enables organizations to evaluate their AI readiness and adopt AI with greater confidence, ensuring a balance between data accessibility and control.
