Fiserv, Inc. (FI), a global leader in financial services technology, has announced a strategic collaboration with Early Warning Services to launch PazeSM, a digital wallet designed for financial institutions. This collaboration aims to offer a seamless online checkout experience by integrating Paze with banks and credit unions that consumers already trust.
The Paze solution introduces an added layer of security by using tokenization, which replaces card account numbers with a unique token, preventing the sharing of card information with merchants. This innovative feature positions Paze as a convenient alternative to other digital wallets, while also leveraging the extensive network of Fiserv-powered financial institutions.
"This strategic offering of Paze provides our clients a new digital checkout solution, one in which their consumers can have full confidence when they check out online," stated Matt Wilcox, Deputy Head, Financial Solutions and President of Digital Payments at Fiserv. "We are excited to enable our clients with a future-forward approach to commerce and with Paze, a convenient online checkout experience for their customers."
Moreover, Fiserv will enable merchants to accept Paze at checkout, broadening the payment options available to their customer base. This expanded relationship with Early Warning Services enhances Fiserv's commitment to providing comprehensive e-commerce solutions.
Paze integrates all eligible credit and debit cards into a single wallet, simplifying the user experience by eliminating the need for manual card entry. With over 150 million cards already added to the Paze system, the solution addresses prevalent e-commerce challenges, facilitating smooth, secure transactions for users and merchants alike.
