  • The EU Cyber-Crisis Management Blueprint mandates SBOM data exchange across 27 EU countries, transforming SBOMs into legal requirements.
  • Cybeats Technologies (CYBCF, Financial) sees a unified market opportunity with its SBOM Studio platform supporting new EU compliance standards.
  • The regulatory shift complements existing regulations like CRA and NIS2, with a 12-month transition before mandatory SBOM implementation.

Cybeats Technologies Corp. (CYBCF), a leader in software supply-chain security, welcomes the recent adoption of the EU Cyber-Crisis Management Blueprint by the European Union Agency for Cybersecurity (ENISA). This new framework mandates the exchange of Software Bill of Materials (SBOM) data across 27 EU countries. The move represents a significant regulatory change, turning SBOMs from recommended best practices into enforceable legal requirements, and creating a unified market for Cybeats' platform across Europe.

The Blueprint introduces a continent-wide framework requiring member states to share security incident data using machine-readable formats, prominently featuring SBOMs, throughout all stages of a cyber-incident lifecycle. Cybeats' SBOM Studio platform is well-positioned to meet these new requirements, supporting formats like SPDX and CycloneDX, and offering automated APIs for submissions to the forthcoming ENISA portals.

The regulatory transition includes a 12-month period before the full implementation of mandatory SBOM generation, as recommended by DIGITALEUROPE. This period allows organizations to adapt to new compliance measures, which align with existing regulations such as the Cyber Resilience Act (CRA) and NIS2.

Additionally, Cybeats announced the resignation of Chris Malkhassian from the Board of Directors, effective May 22, 2025. The company plans to issue 181,048 shares to settle a debt of $22,631 at $0.125 per share. This strategic debt settlement reflects Cybeats' proactive approach to maintaining financial stability while capitalizing on burgeoning market opportunities arising from the EU's regulatory landscape.
