This innovative patent outlines a method to detect and classify the usage of mobile devices within a vehicle cabin by employing sensor fusion. SaverOne’s technique involves using their Phone Location Unit to accurately determine the location of mobile devices through Radio Frequency (RF) technology, and then combining this data with information from other non-RF sensors.
