In a strategic move to enhance its customer engagement and foster an engineering-centric approach, Intel Corporation (INTC) has announced several key leadership appointments. Greg Ernst, with over two decades of experience at Intel, has been promoted to Chief Revenue Officer. Leading Intel’s Sales and Marketing Group since May, Ernst is lauded for his customer-oriented leadership and profound market insight.
Srinivasan Iyengar has been appointed as Senior Vice President and Fellow, overseeing a new customer engineering center. His extensive background with Cadence Design Systems in global silicon engineering positions him well to lead Intel's efforts in custom silicon solutions, particularly in hyperscale data center solutions.
Jean-Didier Allegrucci and Shailendra Desai have been named Vice Presidents of AI System on Chip (SoC) Engineering and AI Fabric and Networking, respectively. Allegrucci, formerly with Rain AI and Apple, will manage AI SoC development, while Desai, with previous roles at Google and Provino Technologies, will focus on advancing innovative SoC architectures for Intel’s AI initiatives. Both report to Sachin Katti, Intel’s Chief Technology and AI Officer.
