ADT Inc. (ADT), a leading provider of smart home and small business security solutions, has contributed $100,000 to All Things Made New (ATMN), a nonprofit in the Dallas area. The donation aims to establish two ADT Safe Places Drop-In Centers in Irving, Texas, designed to serve youth aged 10-18 across Dallas County. These centers will provide essential services such as tutoring, trauma-informed care, mentoring, nutritional support, and technology access.
The partnership, which aligns with ADT's Safe Places program, also includes funding for a co-branded 10-passenger van to facilitate reliable transportation for the youth attending the programs. Additionally, ADT has equipped both ATMN locations with smart security systems to ensure the safety of staff, volunteers, and students.
Dave Scott, Executive Vice President and Chief Administration and People Officer at ADT, emphasized the importance of creating spaces where young people can feel supported and empowered. Michelle Flores, Executive Director of ATMN, highlighted the enhanced reach and opportunities made possible through the partnership.
The announcement was made during a community event held at ATMN's headquarters in Irving, attended by ADT and ATMN leadership, Irving Mayor Rick Stopfer, and other local community leaders. The event featured a check presentation, the revealing of the new van, and a guided tour of one of the ADT Safe Places Drop-In Centers.
