Tesla (TSLA) Expands into India with First Showroom Launch

Tesla (TSLA, Financial) is set to open its first showroom in India, marking its entry into the world's third-largest automobile market. The showroom is expected to launch in Mumbai, with plans to expand to New Delhi. Tesla's initial fleet of vehicles for the Indian market includes the Model Y rear-wheel-drive electric SUV, which has already been shipped from Tesla's China factory. Additionally, the company is importing supercharger components from the U.S., China, and the Netherlands to support its operations in India.
