- Prospector Metals Corp. (PMCOF, Financial) has initiated a 5,000-meter diamond drilling program at the ML Project in Yukon.
- The 10-week program targets six key areas, starting with the promising Bueno Target.
- Initial rock samples from Bueno revealed significant gold concentrations of up to 156 g/t Au.
Prospector Metals Corp. (PMCOF) has commenced its maiden drill program at the ML Project in Yukon, an initiative fully supported financially. This effort will encompass up to 5,000 meters of diamond drilling distributed across 15-20 holes, focusing on six critical areas: Bueno, Skarn Ridge, Rubble Cirque, North Vein, Java, and Fishbowl. The program began with the previously undrilled Bueno Target, which recently produced impressive rock samples reaching up to 156 g/t Au.
Scheduled over a span of 10 weeks until August 2025, the program aims to identify high-grade, structurally controlled gold mineralization in both intrusive units and meta-sediments. At the Bueno Target, exploration efforts are focused on northeast-steeply dipping structures, characterized by robust fracturing, quartz veining, brecciation, along with disseminated to substantial arsenopyrite mineralization. This drilling endeavor follows Prospector Metals' findings from its 2024 exploration activities, marking a significant advancement in developing its flagship project.
