Digi International (DGII), a leader in IoT connectivity solutions, has announced the release of the Digi IX30-0EG4, an industrial IoT cellular router with the Anterix Active designation. This product is designed to enhance connectivity for utilities and critical infrastructure, supporting both public and private LTE networks.
The Digi IX30-0EG4 router fully supports Anterix's 900 MHz private LTE spectrum, making it well-suited for applications such as real-time monitoring, smart grid automation, and renewable energy integration. Featuring a C1D2 and NEMA TS2 rating, it is engineered to provide secure and reliable connectivity even in hazardous environments.
By integrating with Digi Remote Manager and powered by Digi Accelerated Linux (DAL OS), the new router offers centralized configuration, deployment, and monitoring capabilities. This allows operators to manage vast networks of devices from one interface, enhancing both operational efficiency and security.
The router's high port density and edge intelligence reduce the need for additional hardware, providing a streamlined solution for critical infrastructure. Digi IX30-0EG4 is available through Digi's authorized distributors, offering flexible deployment options across public, private, and hybrid LTE networks.
Vitaly Kurduban, Senior Product Manager at Digi International, emphasized the router's role in supporting grid resiliency and infrastructure modernization: "Digi IX30-0EG4 accelerates the transformation of the energy and utilities sector by providing secure, reliable communication channels built for the future."
