Questcorp Mining Inc. (OTCQB: QQCMF) has commenced the first phase of its work program at the La Union carbonate replacement deposit (CRD) project in Sonora, Mexico. The company is working towards securing a 100% interest in this 2,520-hectare property by fulfilling a series of cash payments, share issuances, and exploration expenditures through an agreement with Riverside Resources.

The initial phase is focused on determining drill targets via IP surveying, black light analysis, and detailed geological mapping. The project has already indicated substantial mineralization, including highlight grades of 59.4 grams per metric tonne (g/t) gold and 833 g/t silver, along with 11% zinc, 5.5% lead, and 2.2% copper.

A 1,500-metre drill program is scheduled for mid to late Q3 2025 as part of efforts to de-risk and maximize exploratory outcomes. The La Union project is believed to hold significant potential for large gold discoveries and may also have porphyry copper district potential.

Field activities are actively progressing, including the establishment of picket lines for IP surveying and extensive rock and soil sampling to uncover additional targets and map mineralization patterns. Questcorp is operating under the technical guidance of Riverside Resources, which brings expertise and strategic direction to the project.

Questcorp Mining continues to caution that grab samples may not entirely represent the overall mineralization on the property. The company remains optimistic about the prospects and is progressing with exploratory work under stringent, high-quality measures.
