ReposiTrak (TRAK), a leading food traceability and regulatory compliance network, has announced the addition of 40 new egg and dairy suppliers to its rapidly expanding ReposiTrak Traceability Network® (RTN). This inclusion aims to meet increasing demands for food traceability from retail customers by enabling efficient data exchange for FDA-required Key Data Elements (KDEs) in supply chains.
Among the newly added suppliers is a prominent national brand of pasture-raised eggs and butter established in 2007, known for its commitment to humane animal care and sustainability. Another addition is a Mid-Atlantic goat cheese supplier with over 20 years of experience, acclaimed for crafting cheeses with locally sourced milk and traditional methods. Additionally, a supplier of premium Wisconsin-made cheeses, established in 2012, accentuates the state's dairy craftsmanship heritage.
ReposiTrak provides a hardware-free solution, allowing suppliers to share data in any format efficiently. The system employs a rigorous 500+ point error detection process to ensure data accuracy, working closely with suppliers to correct any issues before information reaches retail, wholesale, or foodservice customers. This setup supports retailers in seeking partners who are easy to collaborate with, turning traceability into a competitive advantage according to ReposiTrak's chairman and CEO, Randy Fields.
Incorporating a robust suite of solutions for food traceability, compliance, and risk management, ReposiTrak's cloud-based applications are designed to help reduce risk, ensure regulatory compliance, and protect brand integrity.
