  • Quartz Mountain Resources (OTC:QZMRF) reports promising results from Phase Two drilling at the Prodigy discovery.
  • Drilling highlights include hole PR23-02, which intersected 435.0 meters at 1.22 g/t AuEQ.
  • Preparations for Phase Three drilling are underway, supported by $3.6 million in funds.

Quartz Mountain Resources (OTC:QZMRF) has made a significant announcement regarding their Phase Two drilling program at the Prodigy gold-silver discovery on the Maestro Property in British Columbia. The company revealed that the drilling intersected substantial intervals of precious and base metals mineralization. One of the standout drilling results came from hole PR23-02, which intersected 435.0 meters at 1.22 g/t gold equivalent (AuEQ), including a high-grade segment of 102.0 meters at 3.80 g/t AuEQ.

The Prodigy Au-Ag system, marked by a magnetic low with an 'Eye' shaped geometry measuring 525 meters long by 225 meters wide, remains open in all directions. Mineralization extends laterally for approximately 325 meters and to vertical depths exceeding 650 meters, providing significant expansion potential.

Supported by a robust cash position of $3.6 million, Quartz Mountain Resources is mobilizing for Phase Three drilling. This next phase aims to continue the systematic delineation of the Prodigy discovery, further leveraging its geological similarities with the recently commissioned Blackwater Gold Mine. The project exhibits characteristics of a polymetallic gold-silver epithermal deposit, consistent with intermediate-sulphidation deposit models.

Overall, the Phase Two drilling results underscore the potential for both bulk tonnage and high-grade zones within the epithermal-style disseminated Au-Ag system. This discovery continues to demonstrate the promising potential of the Maestro Property as a significant site for mineral exploration and development.
