Idaho Strategic Resources (IDR) has provided a detailed update on its exploration and development endeavors across its diverse asset base. The Golden Chest Mine continues its gold production while significantly ramping up exploration efforts with two active drill rigs. One rig is positioned underground, focusing on infill targets on the H-Vein, while the surface rig is testing the Paymaster Footwall Vein.
The company is also advancing the development of infrastructure at the Golden Chest site, including the construction of a paste backfill system and a new mill. Moreover, they have mobilized to develop two underground drill stations aimed at improving resource definition targeting multiple known veins.
On other fronts, IDR has launched a first-phase drilling program in the Murray Gold Belt, targeting various prospects across the district. The exploration extends to Eastern Star, where a 13-hole program has been completed, as well as critical mineral exploration at Mineral Hill, Lemhi Pass, and Diamond Creek. The company is employing innovative geophysical surveys, with LiDAR and magnetics highlighting new exploration targets at Mineral Hill and plans for radiometrics surveys to follow.
Additionally, the Oxford copper project, acquired in 2024, is set to undergo a 3D IP geophysics survey in summer 2025 to identify potential copper porphyry deposits. Despite its underexplored status, initial soil sampling has indicated promising results, encouraging further investigation.
IDR is funding these comprehensive exploration programs through cash flow generated from its gold production operations, supported by robust gold prices and grades. This strategic leveraging of gold revenue allows IDR to explore and expand its portfolio while maintaining a solid financial foundation.
