The Universal Technical Institute (UTI, Financial) has formed a new partnership with FirstCall Mechanical through its Early Employment Program (EEP). This collaboration offers HVACR students at UTI's Mooresville, Orlando, and Austin campuses the opportunity to gain hands-on, paid work experience while attending classes. Upon graduation, students may be considered for full-time employment with FirstCall Mechanical.

Through this initiative, participants can receive 20-30 hours of paid work experience per week and are eligible for up to $10,000 in tuition reimbursement over five years. Additional program benefits include reimbursement for tools and relocation assistance. FirstCall Mechanical also provides professional development opportunities via the FirstCall Academy, LEAP, and the FirstCall Progression Program.

For full-time employees, FirstCall Mechanical offers a comprehensive benefits package that includes medical, dental, and vision coverage, free telehealth services, and a 401(k) plan with a 5% match. Employees can also access life, short- and long-term disability insurance, up to 4 weeks of paid time off, and various allowances for company vehicles, phones, and work gear. Furthermore, employees can earn a $2,500 referral bonus.

Universal Technical Institute (UTI, Financial) (ticker: UTI) operates 15 campuses across nine states, offering educational programs in transportation, skilled trades, electrical, and energy sectors. FirstCall Mechanical, with a workforce of approximately 750 employees across 24 branches, provides essential HVAC, building controls, and plumbing services to commercial and industrial clients.
