CrowdStrike (CRWD), a global cybersecurity leader, has been named a Leader in the 2025 IDC MarketScape for Worldwide Cloud-Native Application Protection Platforms (CNAPP). This recognition highlights the company’s innovation and leadership in securing modern hybrid environments with its Falcon Cloud Security platform, known for delivering unified, real-time protection across cloud, identity, and endpoint.

The IDC MarketScape report acknowledged CrowdStrike Falcon for its proactive unified cloud security posture management that reduces alert noise and attack surface through the use of threat intelligence and AI-driven risk prioritization. This allows security operations centers (SOC) to detect and respond to active threats across hybrid clouds effectively.

Elia Zaitsev, CrowdStrike's chief technology officer, emphasized that the Falcon Cloud Security platform is designed to deliver real-time detection, runtime protection, and cross-domain correlation, which are crucial in today's complex cloud attack landscape.

Strengths noted by the IDC MarketScape for CrowdStrike include its support for a shift-left strategy, ease of use, and a unified view through the Falcon console. Customers have appreciated the seamless monitoring of security anomalies and continuous management of their security posture.

This recognition by IDC MarketScape adds to CrowdStrike's momentum, following its top placements in the 2025 Frost Radar for Cloud and Application Runtime Security and the 2024 GigaOm Radar for CNAPP, solidifying its position as an industry standard for unified cloud security.
