For the second year in a row, Aptar ranks at 244 out of 500 leading global companies evaluated for their sustainability efforts.
The recognition by TIME highlights Aptar's commitment to sustainability, focusing on increasing the use of renewable energy, developing recyclable and reusable products, and helping major brands meet their sustainability commitments. At the end of 2024, 97.5% of Aptar’s global electricity came from renewable sources, supported by renewable supply agreements in Europe and North America.
As part of its global sustainability strategy, Aptar has also achieved the Platinum level rating from EcoVadis for the fifth consecutive year, placing it among the top 1% of over 150,000 companies rated worldwide. This milestone reflects Aptar's dedication to reducing emissions and promoting a low-carbon economy. Additionally, 86% of its operational waste was diverted from landfills through reuse, recycling, and recovery efforts, with over 60% of its sites earning Landfill Free Certification.
