Reitar Logtech (RITR, Financial) has entered into a strategic Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with Rich Harvest Agricultural Produce. The initiative focuses on pioneering collaboration in integrating blockchain traceability, digital payment systems, and intelligent cold chain technology within cross-border agricultural supply chains. This partnership aims to establish a groundbreaking agricultural supply chain ecosystem by developing a comprehensive technology platform that merges blockchain traceability with automated cold chain solutions.
Under the MOU, Reitar Logtech and Rich Harvest will explore three key areas of collaboration: blockchain traceability system development, digital payment integration, and smart cold chain incorporation. The project will proceed in phases: the first phase, scheduled for the last quarter of 2025, will involve a pilot project exporting around 30 tons of fresh produce daily from Rich Harvest's Guizhou farm to Hong Kong. This includes a variety of fresh goods such as vegetables, fruits, and meats. The second phase, targeted for the first quarter of 2026, will focus on implementing digital payment systems in Hong Kong's supermarkets and markets and equipping cold chain fleets with blockchain-based temperature controls for improved safety.
