Meta, the American tech giant, has successfully recruited four artificial intelligence researchers from OpenAI, according to a report by The Information. The new hires include Shengjia Zhao, Jiahui Yu, Shuchao Bi, and Hongyu Ren, all of whom have agreed to join Meta's team.
This follows an earlier report indicating that Meta had also brought on board Lucas Beyer, Alexander Kolesnikov, and Xiaohua Zhai from OpenAI's Zurich office. These moves are part of Meta CEO Mark Zuckerberg's ambitious "superintelligence" project, as the company intensifies its efforts to strengthen its AI capabilities by attracting top talent from competitors.
