Promethean, a subsidiary of Mynd.ai, Inc. (MYND), has unveiled its latest innovation, the ActivPanel D-Series, a non-interactive digital signage solution. Scheduled for release in the U.S. this summer, the product is expected to reach international markets by the year's end.
The ActivPanel D-Series is distinguished by its integration with Radix Viso, a web-based management console, and Rise Vision, a cloud-based digital signage software platform. Both software solutions require paid licenses for activation. The combined offering includes over 600 editable templates, remote management capabilities, and emergency messaging software integration, making it well-suited for a variety of settings such as classrooms, offices, and gyms.
Lance Solomon, Chief Product Officer at Promethean, highlighted the importance of efficient information sharing within organizations. "Pairing an ActivPanel D-Series with Radix Viso and Rise Vision turns any space into easy-to-manage, real-time communication hubs," he stated. This emphasis on communication efficiency is augmented by features like an intuitive screen saver function that allows for seamless transitions between display and interactive modes on devices.
Promethean plans to demonstrate the ActivPanel D-Series alongside its software solutions at the ISTELive 2025 event in San Antonio, TX, from June 29 to July 2 at booth 2206. This launch not only diversifies Promethean's product portfolio but also aligns with the company's strategy to leverage recurring software revenue, enhancing revenue predictability amidst expanding digital communication needs.
