Duke Robotics Corp. (OTCQB: DUKR) announced a significant milestone in its European expansion with the finalization of drone pilot selection for its operations in Greece. The initiative is set to advance with the launch of its Insulator Cleaning (IC) Drone services aimed at modernizing the country's energy infrastructure.
This development follows the establishment of Duke Robotics Hellas I.K.E. earlier in the year, marking an important step in the company's strategy to penetrate the European market. The launch of the IC Drone services is anticipated to commence this summer, capitalizing on Greece's ongoing infrastructure modernization backed by $32 billion in European Union funding designated for energy projects.
Yossef Balucka, CEO of Duke Robotics, emphasized the meticulous selection process, ensuring that the chosen drone pilots meet high standards concerning technical capabilities, safety records, and regulatory compliance. The move supports Greece's national goal of generating 82% of electricity from renewable sources by 2030 and plays a critical role in enabling Duke Robotics to introduce its cutting-edge IC Drone technology to the Greek energy sector.
