- Terra Innovatum partners with TechSource to accelerate commercialization of SOLO™ micro-modular reactors.
- The collaboration focuses on regulatory progress and access to DOE and DOD funding.
- TechSource will offer expertise in supply chain and regulatory advisory support.
Terra Innovatum has entered into a strategic partnership with TechSource Inc. aimed at fast-tracking the commercialization of their SOLO™ micro-modular reactors in the United States. The partnership is set to enhance regulatory progress and broaden access to funding programs through the U.S. Department of Energy (DOE) and Department of Defense (DOD).
TechSource, an employee-owned firm specializing in nuclear energy and weapons lifecycle management, will provide Terra Innovatum with supply chain and regulatory advisory support. This collaboration will also help Terra Innovatum identify potential strategic investors and customers, as well as access U.S. agency funding programs.
The SOLO™ system, characterized by its compact 4 MWe / 20 MWt micro-modular reactors, is specifically designed for applications such as off-grid military complexes. Under the terms of the Memorandum of Understanding (MOU), both companies will collaborate on identifying sites for reactor assembly and deployment, optimizing supply chain management, ensuring compliance with the Nuclear Regulatory Commission (NRC), and engaging with key stakeholders.
The agreement further opens up potential for co-investments in operational hubs, advanced manufacturing infrastructure, and strategic R&D partnerships. This partnership significantly strengthens Terra Innovatum's position in the advanced nuclear sector by leveraging TechSource’s DOE and DOD connections.
