MONTERREY, Mexico, July 1, 2025 - Fomento Económico Mexicano, S.A.B. de C.V. (“FEMSA”) (NYSE: FMX; BMV: FEMSAUBD, FEMSAUB) announced the completion of its divestiture of Solistica logistics operations to Grupo Traxión, S.A.B. de C.V. (BMV: TRAXIONA), a leading Mexican transportation and logistics company. This transaction, initially disclosed on October 10, 2024, involved FEMSA’s transportation management operations in Mexico and contract logistics operations across Mexico, Colombia, and Brazil, while excluding its less-than-truckload (LTL) operations in Brazil.

The transaction was finalized on a cash-free, debt-free basis with a value of 4,040 million Mexican pesos. This strategic realignment marks a significant restructuring in FEMSA's logistics portfolio, streamlining its operations across multiple countries. FEMSA is recognized for its substantial presence in both the retail and beverage industries, employing over 392,000 individuals in 18 countries. Meanwhile, Grupo Traxión continues to lead the Mexican logistics market with a comprehensive service portfolio, operating across three main segments: Mobility of Cargo, Logistics and Technology, and Mobility of Personnel.
