The mission highlights KBR's enhanced role in commercial spaceflight, with comprehensive International Space Station systems and medical training provided to the four Ax-4 crew members for their two-week journey.

In a significant advancement for KBR, the company embedded four flight controllers within Axiom Space's mission control center. This involvement ensures real-time operational support, demonstrating KBR's deepening integration into the private space sector. This mission builds on the company's history of supporting Axiom Missions 1, 2, and 3.

Mark Kavanaugh, KBR's President of Defense, Intel, and Space, noted that the company is proud to continue its mission of supporting NASA and commercial partners in broadening the horizons of human space exploration.
