Germany’s largest public insurer, Versicherungskammer Group, has chosen Clearwater Analytics (CWAN) to streamline and enhance its investment operations. This strategic decision follows a comprehensive review of operational needs, marked by significant market and demographic changes requiring increased agility, transparency, and efficiency.

By integrating Clearwater's modern cloud-based platform, Versicherungskammer aims to bolster its decision-making processes with real-time data analytics. The innovative platform supports middle and back office functions as well as risk management, aligning with Versicherungskammer's focus on its core investment competencies.

Martin Knobbe, Versicherungskammer’s Head of Middle and Back Office Investment, stated that the partnership with Clearwater is crucial for future-proofing their investment capabilities. By joining a platform used by over 700 insurers, Versicherungskammer expects to improve business agility, enhance data quality, and support long-term growth objectives.

Keith Viverito, Managing Director EMEA at Clearwater Analytics, highlighted the significance of the partnership in setting a new benchmark for modernizing insurer investment operations. The collaboration integrates technology from Clearwater’s recent acquisitions, Enfusion and Beacon, to deliver a robust front-to-back platform that enhances accuracy and timeliness of data across various asset classes.
