Anthropic (ANTH.PVT), an AI startup, recently achieved a valuation exceeding $60 billion following a successful funding round. The company gained early momentum by winning a copyright lawsuit, a significant outcome for AI's future. Anthropic is now poised to potentially support Apple's new version of Siri, which could elevate its Claude model to a highly coveted position in the tech sector.

Bloomberg reported that Apple is considering using external AI technologies to enhance its voice assistant, a move that could overshadow its internal R&D efforts. Concurrently, Meta's CEO Mark Zuckerberg is aggressively recruiting top AI researchers and engineers, offering salaries up to $100 million. After failing to acquire AI startup Safe Superintelligence, Meta hired its CEO. Additionally, Meta invested $14 billion in data labeling startup Scale AI and appointed its executive, Alexander Wang, to lead a new superintelligence division.

These developments highlight a trend in AI business strategies, reflecting public perception of emerging AI companies and tech platforms that both compete and collaborate with them. The focus has shifted from technological advancements to integrating AI into consumer life, marketing, and talent acquisition, marking a new phase in AI commercialization.
