Regenx Tech Corp (OTCQB:RGXTF), a cleantech company focused on recycling diesel catalytic converters, has announced that it secured all requisite permits for its Newport, Tennessee facility as of July 2, 2025. This development allows the completion of construction and the commencement of material processing operations, expected by the end of July 2025. The facility targets a processing capacity of 4,000 pounds of milled feedstock daily, a critical step toward full-scale production.
In addition to operational milestones, Regenx has received a favorable preliminary response from the U.S. Department of Energy (DOE) regarding its proposal titled "Domestic Recovery of Critical Minerals from End-of-Life Catalytic Converters." The DOE has acknowledged the proposal's alignment with its mission to secure critical mineral supply chains and has requested additional information to further assess the company's eligibility for government funding.
"Securing these permits is a significant achievement for Regenx," commented Rick Purdy, President of Regenx USA. "With construction nearing completion, we are poised to begin processing operations soon, moving us closer to achieving our production goals. We are grateful for the support of all stakeholders in this endeavor."
Regenx Tech is committed to enhancing its process efficiencies and scaling its operations incrementally while maintaining its focus on environmental sustainability and innovative recycling technologies.
