This $10 million capital investment is set to serve a new fuel-cell facility providing on-site electric power to a data center, addressing the rising demand for distributed data infrastructure.
The infrastructure is anticipated to become operational in the first half of 2027. This development underscores Chesapeake Utilities' commitment to leveraging its core capabilities in transmission infrastructure, further accentuating its footprint in the high-growth Ohio region.
