Singapore's state-owned investment firm, Temasek Holdings, reported a record asset disposal of 42 billion SGD (33 billion USD) in the last fiscal year, marking its highest annual achievement. The net portfolio value reached a new peak of 434 billion SGD, an increase of 45 billion SGD from the previous year. The company's total return rate for the fiscal year was 11.8%, significantly higher than the previous year's 1.6%.

For the first time in four years, listed securities represented more than half of Temasek's portfolio value, with unlisted assets accounting for 49%. These unlisted assets include private company equities and investments in venture capital funds. The timing of Temasek's performance report was advantageous, as it concluded before global market disruptions caused by U.S. President Trump's tariff announcement on April 2.

Temasek's asset sales spanned various sectors, according to Chief Investment Officer Rohit Sipahimalani. The firm invested 52 billion SGD during the fiscal year, achieving a net investment of 10 billion SGD, compared to a net sale of 7 billion SGD in the previous period. Notable investments included a stake in French renewable energy company Neoen, increased holdings in Tencent, and a minority stake in Indian snack producer Haldiram Snacks Food.
