Stratasys Ltd. (SSYS), a leader in additive manufacturing, has unveiled the latest iteration of its Fortus® 450mc 3D printer, celebrating a decade since its original launch. This update integrates advanced features aimed at enhancing productivity and expanding manufacturing applications, specifically targeting the automotive, aerospace, and general industrial sectors.
The Fortus 450mc, renowned for its reliability, continues to be a prominent choice in the industry, with more than 92% of systems installed over the last ten years still actively producing parts. This latest version enhances its legacy with upgraded components to support advanced materials like FDM® Nylon 12CF and Antero®. A comprehensive all-materials license grants full access to the Fortus 450mc materials portfolio.
Additionally, Stratasys now offers a one-year license for GrabCAD Streamline Pro™ and GrabCAD Print Pro™ software. This enhancement includes enterprise-level cybersecurity and optimized workflow management capabilities, ensuring robust production security and efficiency. The software package also features fixturemate by trinckle, facilitating easy and automated custom fixture creation.
