According to a report by the Financial Times, NVIDIA (NVDA, Financial) is planning to launch a new AI-based chip specifically designed for the Chinese market as early as September. This move is aimed at strengthening NVIDIA's presence in China. The company's CEO, Jensen Huang, is seeking meetings with high-level Chinese officials to improve relations and enhance the company's position in the country.

The new chip will utilize NVIDIA's RTX Pro 6000 processor but will exclude most advanced features to comply with U.S. export restrictions on chips. The development reflects NVIDIA's strategy to adapt to regulatory challenges while maintaining a foothold in the lucrative Chinese market.
