Unusual Machines, Inc. (UMAC), a leader in drone technology and component manufacturing, has announced the appointment of Tim Manton, CPA, as Corporate Controller. Manton, who will report to CFO Brian Hoff, brings over 15 years of experience in financial operations, mergers and acquisitions, and reporting, gained from his previous roles at Sony Electronics, Blue Force Technologies, and Ultra Electronics.

The appointment is part of UMAC's strategy to expand its domestic operations, including establishing a 17,000-square-foot motor production facility in Orlando, Florida. This expansion aims to enhance the company's financial and operational infrastructure to support the production of U.S.-made components, particularly high-performance drone motors, which are in demand due to regulatory and customer demands.

"Tim brings strong financial acumen and experience critical to dynamic, scaling environments," said Brian Hoff, CFO of UMAC. "His background in M&A, systems integration, and financial oversight makes him a valuable addition as we sharpen our focus on execution and operational efficiency."

Unusual Machines is focused on strengthening its U.S. manufacturing capabilities to meet the growing need for domestically produced high-performance drone motors. This strategic move aligns with UMAC's objective to be a dominant Tier-1 parts supplier in the fast-growing multi-billion-dollar U.S. drone industry.
