Power Metallic Mines Inc. (OTCBB: PNPNF) has announced a significant expansion in its exploration activities at the Nisk Project for summer 2025. The campaign sees the deployment of four drill rigs, with the aim of covering up to 25,000 meters across key zones, including Lion, Tiger, and various Nisk areas. Specifically, the efforts include drilling 10,000-12,500 meters at Lion, 5,000-6,250 meters at Tiger, and 5,000-6,250 meters at Nisk.
The company is in the final stages of acquiring an additional 167 km² from Li-FT Power, which will expand its land package by more than 300%. This acquisition is set to enhance the exploration potential of the Nisk-Lion-Tiger trend by incorporating new geological targets.
Power Metallic is utilizing advanced exploration technologies, such as borehole electromagnetic (EM) surveys and a comprehensive airborne EM/magnetic survey, to identify promising mineralization zones. A LiDAR survey has also been completed and is expected to offer high-accuracy topographical data in approximately 10 weeks, aiding in identifying potential drill sites.
While the ongoing exploration program focuses on extending and infilling known deposits at the Lion zone, new targets are also being pursued at the Tiger zone and the broader Nisk area. Assays from several completed holes are pending, and results are anticipated to provide further insights into the mineral potential of these zones.
