- NETSCOUT (NTCT, Financial) collaborates on AI-driven NeuroNOC Catalyst project with TM Forum, achieving significant cost reductions.
- The project showed a potential 80% reduction in manual troubleshooting and up to 50% lower operational costs.
- Utilization of AWS Bedrock results in an 80% reduction in data tokenization during simulations.
NETSCOUT SYSTEMS, INC. (NTCT), a leading observability and cybersecurity solutions provider, has announced its participation in TM Forum’s NeuroNOC Catalyst project at DTW Ignite 2025. The initiative, which set a record for the most Communication Service Providers and countries involved, explored the role of AI agents, closed-loop automation, and high-quality network data in creating self-healing telecom operations.
The NeuroNOC Catalyst project, developed in partnership with global leaders such as Amazon Web Services, Accenture, and others, demonstrated the potential of AI and automation to enhance fault detection and resolution in live network environments. NETSCOUT deployed its Omnis AI Insights Solution, utilizing Omnis AI Sensor and Omnis AI Streamer, to provide essential telemetry for AI-driven operations.
The project revealed that high-quality, curated data enables effective AI solutions, evidenced by an expected 80% reduction in manual troubleshooting and up to 50% lower operational costs for service providers. Additionally, the use of AI models like AWS Bedrock led to an 80% reduction in data tokenization, highlighting further potential savings.
Richard Fulwiler, Senior Director of Product Management at NETSCOUT, emphasized the importance of accurate, real-time curated data for intelligent network operations. He noted that while fully autonomous networks are still developing, the project highlights the powerful potential of AI agents when supported by real-time data.
