Safe Pro Group (SPAI) announced that its artificial intelligence subsidiary, Safe Pro AI, has been selected as one of eight finalists in the prestigious UN World Food Programme's Humanitarian Innovation Accelerator program. The selection was made from a pool of 579 applications representing 103 countries, with Safe Pro AI being the only U.S. technology to reach this stage.

Focusing on AI-powered landmine detection in Ukrainian agricultural fields, the company's technology has so far analyzed more than 1.66 million drone images and identified over 28,000 threats across 6,705 hectares. This achievement positions Safe Pro AI as a leader in humanitarian demining efforts, demonstrating the significant impact of its AI-powered computer vision technology on addressing global landmine contamination challenges.

Finalists, including Safe Pro AI, have the potential to receive up to $150,000 in funding following a due diligence process. They will be part of a 12-month sprint cohort, allowing them to further develop and implement their innovative solutions. Safe Pro AI's capability to detect and identify over 150 types of landmines and unexploded ordnance in a fraction of a second per image places it at the forefront of rapid battlefield analysis and large-scale demining operations.

Safe Pro's SPOTD technology can be deployed in real-time on-site (SpotlightAITM OnSite) or via the cloud using Amazon Web Services (AWS), enabling scalable and effective solutions for commercial and humanitarian sectors globally.
