  • Visible gold detected in all drill holes at Sitka Gold's (SITKF, Financial) RC Gold Project's Rhosgobel target.
  • Over 15,000 meters of a planned 30,000-meter drilling program completed with strong mineralization expansion.
  • Drilling at all target areas, including Blackjack, Saddle, and Eiger, continues with robust indications of gold mineralization.

Vancouver-based Sitka Gold Corp. (OTCQB: SITKF) has announced significant progress at its RC Gold Project in the Yukon’s Tombstone Gold Belt. To date, the company has completed over 15,000 meters of its ongoing 30,000-meter diamond drilling program, a substantial milestone at the 100%-owned site. Four active drill rigs have been pivotal in this advancement, covering the Blackjack, Saddle, Eiger, and Rhosgobel targets.

Particularly encouraging are the results from the Rhosgobel target, located approximately 5 km south of the Blackjack deposit. Here, nine drill holes have delineated gold mineralization extending over 250 meters along strike and reaching depths of about 350 meters. Notably, each drilled hole has yielded visible gold, suggesting a promising continuity of mineralization across the area. The mineralization remains open in all directions, highlighting the potential for future expansion.

Further drilling activity at the Blackjack and Saddle targets has also been fruitful. Twenty-one holes totaling 8,334 meters have been drilled, with multiple observations of visible gold reported from these sites. In the Eiger region, eight holes totaling 3,386 meters have been completed, marking significant strides toward resource expansion.

While the assay results are still pending, the consistent presence of visible gold provides a strong indication of the project's potential. Sitka Gold is eager to receive these results, which will help confirm the extent of gold mineralization and support further exploration decisions.
