Camping World Holdings, Inc. (CWH), through its subsidiaries Camping World, Inc. and FreedomRoads Holding Company, LLC, secured a decisive legal win in a case related to the unscripted television series, "The Profit." The Los Angeles Superior Court has confirmed a substantial award of nearly $5 million in damages and $4.5 million in attorneys’ fees and costs. These awards were in favor of Camping World entities and its lead talent, Marcus Lemonis, against Tumbleweed Tiny Homes and its CEO, Steve Weissmann.

The arbitration, led by Hon. Candace Cooper (Ret.), found Tumbleweed and Weissmann liable for their failure to repay loans received from FreedomRoads. These loans were crucial in keeping Tumbleweed operational, and the court dismissed all allegations of misconduct by Marcus Lemonis. Justice Cooper highlighted that evidence suggested Lemonis was attempting to "save" Tumbleweed rather than contribute to its failure.

In addition, Weissmann continued to accept orders and deposits from customers despite knowing Tumbleweed lacked the operational funds, leaving nearly a dozen customers out of pocket for a collective $250,000. This fraudulent act was revealed through recent public filings, further solidifying the judgment against him.

Marcus Lemonis commented on the ruling, emphasizing the importance of truth and the consequences of pursuing unfounded allegations. This case marks the second fully litigated instance involving "The Profit," with previous cases similarly recognizing Lemonis' good faith actions.

Camping World Holdings, Inc., headquartered in Lincolnshire, IL, stands as a global leader in RV sales, striving to make RVing accessible and enjoyable through its expansive network and value-centric approach.
