Nathan’s Famous (NATH, Financial) has launched a creative campaign in collaboration with the Metropolitan Transportation Authority (MTA), just in time for National Hot Dog Day on July 16. The campaign takes advantage of an interesting feature in the MTA’s newly redesigned subway map. The updated map reveals that the N, F, and Q subway lines directly connect to Coney Island, famously known as the home of Nathan’s Famous. This unexpected detail creates an engaging experience for hot dog fans as they "follow the frank" to the renowned location.

Earlier this year, the MTA introduced its first comprehensive subway map overhaul in nearly five decades. This revamp serendipitously highlights Coney Island as a key destination, aligning perfectly with Nathan’s branding. Furthermore, Smithfield Foods holds a licensing agreement with Nathan’s Famous, enabling them to produce, market, and distribute Nathan's branded hot dogs and sausages in refrigerated packages across U.S. retail channels.
