  • Deployment scheduled for July 2025, marking the first onshore wave energy pilot station in the U.S.

Eco Wave Power Global AB (NASDAQ: WAVE), a leader in onshore wave energy technology, has successfully completed the production of floaters for its pioneering U.S. wave energy project at the Port of Los Angeles. The completion marks a critical milestone in the development of the first-ever onshore wave energy pilot station in the United States, with deployment set for July 2025.

The floaters were manufactured by All-Ways Metal, a California-based, woman-owned metal fabrication company. This collaboration underscores Eco Wave Power's commitment to local sourcing and U.S. job creation. The system will utilize existing coastal infrastructure by installing the technology on a pre-existing jetty, enabling the conversion of wave motion into clean electricity through Eco Wave Power's patented onshore conversion unit.

Supported by Shell's Marine Renewable Program, this project reflects a strategic partnership that enhances the credibility of Eco Wave Power's entry into the U.S. renewable energy market. The Shell partnership brings validation and potentially paves the way for future commercial-scale deployments if this pilot proves successful.

As the project moves into the final assembly and logistics phase, the installation is expected to begin this July, with an official opening anticipated later in the summer. The project is an essential proof-of-concept for Eco Wave Power's U.S. market entry strategy and represents a significant advancement in the company's commercialization journey, offering a low-maintenance and environmentally friendly alternative to traditional offshore wave energy technologies.
