Canadian Solar Inc. (NASDAQ:CSIQ) has announced its latest accolade as its residential energy storage system, EP Cube, has won the esteemed Red Dot Award 2025. Designed by Eternalplanet, a subsidiary of Canadian Solar, EP Cube was recognized for its outstanding design, ranking among the top 1.5% of over 10,000 international entries from more than 60 countries.

EP Cube's innovative features include a modular stacking design that allows for flexible capacity expansion ranging from 5 kWh to 40 kWh. Its ultra-slim profile simplifies installation, adapting easily to various home environments. Additionally, the system offers a three-phase output capability with a maximum AC output of 12 kVa, making it compatible with both existing and new photovoltaic (PV) systems. This flexibility supports diverse household energy needs and promotes clean energy adoption.

The Red Dot Design Award, founded in 1955 in Germany, is renowned as one of the world's leading design competitions. Winning this award highlights EP Cube's superior design and advances Canadian Solar's mission to innovate within the green energy sector. Earlier this year, EP Cube also garnered the iF Design Award and the MUSE Design Award Gold, affirming its design excellence.
